This bike turned out really nice. It’s a titanium custom ebike build for a 6’10” rider. The customer was looking for a bike for riding commuting in his home town of Geneva Switzerland as well as long adventure rides on the many gravel paths in the area. For him, flat bars were the way to go to get him the riding position he wanted.
One of the amazing features of a titanium frame is that it can never corrode, therefore it does not need to be painted. But not everyone wants a bare frame. This bike got a really cool Illusion Red powder coat job which has a nice metallic flake and a lot of depth to the color. It’s not just a boring fire engine red, it really pops.
We built this custom titanium ebike with Sram GX Eagle AXS 1×12 speed wireless electronic components for perfect shifting and easy maintenance and a clean wire-free aesthetic. The fork is an ENVE All-road carbon fork with 400mm steering tube in order to allow for a long enough head tube for such a tall rider. The ENVE fork also includes a proprietary clip on fender that will come in handy in Geneva. The bike also has rear rack and fender mounts.
This bike also features a headlight and tail light that are wired into the motor so you never have to worry about charging the lights and they are controlled using the Bosch Nyon display. We created some custom routing for the tail light so that the wired is hidden all the way through the seat tube and into the seatpost itself, and comes out right at the top of the post and connects to the light. The Nyon display is also easy to remove from the head unit for security purposes. Once removed, the motor and battery are disabled.
