We just finished up this new e-bike for a local Boulder woman who is about 5 feet tall. As usual, she could not find a bike that fit that was not a 60 pound hybrid clunker. She has been cycling for ages, and wanted an ebike that felt like a regular bike, not her grandmothers tricycle. So she found us and we started the process to build her dream e-bike.
This custom titanium e-bike is built as a peformance flat bar all road bike. She came into our shop for a bike fitting with Lennard where he set her up on our Guru fit cycle and found the perfect riding position. Then he designed the bike to meet those precise measurements.
We built this e-bike with the newest Bosch motor, the Generation 5 Performance line speed motor. This motor is lighter than the Gen4 due to its more compact package and the 3dprinted motor bracket is also lighter than a cast bracket. This bike weighs in at about 35 lbs with the 545wh battery and supernova lights.
The last step was designing some cool graphics for the frame. We did a gold to pink fade for the graphics giving it a subtle iridescent effect.
