Justin sent us an email reviewing his new Clydesdale e-bike, the Whip. It was built with our new super-strong, carbon Duro fork.
Justin has been riding a Clydesdale Draft for a couple of years now, which was originally built with an Enve all-road fork. He recently upgraded his Draft to take advantage of the Duro fork, after seeing how well it performs on his new e-bike.

Justin on the Duro and his Clydesdale bikes
Duro Fork: Super stable over 40mph and way more confidence steering hard to avoid obstacles. Very happy with the new fork on both bikes!
Clydesdale Whip, e-bike: The build went as expected with no major issues and I think it is a game changer for me. Where I live is hilly, just short, sharp hills over and over again. I am pretty fit so I don’t need an e-bike for health issues but it is impossible for me to ride zone 2 outside at all because just to crawl up several hills is 350-400w which defeats the idea of a recovery or easy ride. Did a couple rides already and this bike is the ticket, I can keep my heart rate where it needs to be and still go fast enough to feel like I have done something. The bike as a whole is super stable and confidence inspiring, I am very happy! Stats for the first ride below just as a reference and some pics of both bikes:
45 miles to battery cutoff
2600’ of elevation gain
Avg speed 22mph
My avg watts was 200w
